Lizbeth Gutierrez is a current WHS senior (2021). She has enlisted to be in the Marines after completing high school. She is excited about the opportunities that the military will give her after graduation. She is also involved in several performing arts as well as a member of several different athletic programs. Staff Sergeant Ryan Green also joins in the conversation to give more perspective about the opportunities that the marine corps could provide WHS students after graduation.

Kenny Yoshino is a current WHS senior (21). Kenny plays football and baseball. Kenny is the youngest sibling in his family, and athletics was a major part of his family's culture while he was growing up. Kenny enjoys the different challenges that his chosen sports bring, and he uses the philosophies he has learned in athletics to guide the way he chooses to live his life.

Gio Tamayo is a current WHS senior (2021). Gio has been involved in several different sports at WHS, but quickly fell in love with volleyball in his freshman season. Gio is also an excellent student, and he holds himself to the highest standards in all aspects of life. Check out this conversation with Gio.

Joe Schafer is a current WHS sophomore (23). Joe was a first year wrestler as a freshmen and quickly fell in love with the sport. Joe discusses how much he enjoys being a part of the team, and the hard work that goes with it. Joe has developed a thirst for training, and he focuses on getting better every day rather than results. Joe gets most of his drive from his teammates, and he uses them as examples to learn from.

Rachel Delmar is a current WHS senior (21). She has won many state and national awards playing the clarinet. She is a diligent student, earning excellent grades while taking college level courses. She also loves to give back by tutoring students younger than her. Rachel also dives into some of the adversities she has faced, and her continual work to overcome those adversities.

As a junior, Ben's wrestling journey was an arduous one, and he gives insight into some of his ups and downs along the way. Luis Rivas is a current Junior (2022) at WHS. He has wrestled and played football during his first two years at WHS. Luis discusses how he has changed his life in a variety of ways including his physical health, his academics, and his belief in himself. He also discusses his long term educational and career goals. Luis' story is truly inspirational for anyone who has taught or coached. This episode was a joy to make, and it was a blast hearing all of the positive things Luis has going.

Javi Lopez is a current junior (2022). Javi plays football and wrestles. Javi is an extremely hard worker, and he is always consistent in everything that he does. Javi has not missed a practice in 2 years of high school. He is also a strong academic student that plans to attend a four-year university to study manufacturing.
